What to Expect

MORNING SESSION

8.00am- Pick up from New Gisborne ….

8:15am -Introduction to bikes and gear up

8:45am – 9:45am – Skills training. We will show you:

Body positioning – Remember, there is NO seat
How to turn a trials bike- They have a very different turning circle to a dirt bike!
Riding over small logs and over small obstacles
Concrete pipes
Balancing beams
There is plenty of room to hone in on your skills as the courses are limited to 6 people per session.

9:45am – 9:50am – Short drink break. It is important to have regular breaks during the course as you are standing up all the time and the pressure on your legs will be felt.

9:50am – 10:40am – Obstacles

We will move onto more challenging obstacles at this time. Please be aware that we will not make you ride over ANY obstacles that you don’t feel confident on. IT’S UP TO YOU. We have a progressive route that takes you a step up from the “Skills” section, to an Intermediate section to a more advanced section.

10:40am- 10:45 am – Short drink break

10:45 – 11:55- More obstacles and trail ride. We take you on a trial ride through our private property to perfect your skills. We play “follow the leader” and have incorporated all of the skills you have learnt from the day on our ride.

11:55- 12:15pm – Course wrap up and gear down. We will then drop you back to the car in New Gisborne by 12:45pm.

Remember; you are welcome to have a rest at any time during the course. Cold drinks and snacks will be provided.

AFTERNOON SESSION
12:45pm- Pick up from New Gisborne ….
